 No.1260 Aleksey Oganesjan (Russia) Original Fairy problems JF-10/2017-3/2018: October’2017 – March’2018

 No.1260 Aleksey Oganesjan Russia original – 14.12.2017 Solutions: (click to show/hide) white Kb1 Ra1 Sb7 Pa2a7c7f3g7 black Ke8 Se2 Pd2f2f7 hs#4             b) Pf3→a5            (8+5) a) 1.c7-c8=B d2-d1=S 2.a7-a8=R f2-f1=Q 3.Ra8-a4 Qf1*f3 4.Ra4-e4 + Qf3*e4 #{ (1.c8S? d1B 2.a8Q f1R 3.Qa6 Rf5??)} b) wPf3-->a5 1.c7-c8=S d2-d1=B 2.a7-a8=Q f2-f1=R 3.Qa8-a6 Rf1-f5 4.Qa6-b5 + Rf5*b5 #{ (1.c8B? d1S 2.a8R f1Q 3.Ra4??) (C+ by Popeye 4.79)} Doubled mixed AUW with model mates. Peculiar kind of Monkey theme: White (Black) execute exactly the same maneuvers in one phase that Black (White) execute in another phase on the same moves – in particular, destroy batteries that just created by promoted pieces. Compare to another orthodox hs# with double AUW: pdb/P1009561 and pdb/P1072154. (Author)

P. S. It is curious that if in this problem we set bRf8 instead wPg7 and add duplex twin then we get very funny 4-phase-problem with doubling of a play as in pdb/P1072154. But author considers this version only as a joke and not as a serious problem.

P. S. Забавно, что если в данной задаче заменить wPg7 на bRf8 и добавить близнец “дуплекс”, то получится занятная 4-фазная задача с удвоением игры, как в pdb/P1072154. Но автор рассматривает эту версию лишь как шутку, а не как серьезную задачу.
