No.667 by Nicolas Dupont – PG problem demonstrating a new variation of Anti-Take&Make! (JV)

Anti-Take & Make Type II: When a piece is captured (King excluded), it immediately moves without capture from its vanishing square, using a moving possibility of the capturing piece (color included). The “take” is forbidden if not followed by such a “make”, chosen by the capturing piece’s side.

    Looks very nice. Such using of fairy conditions in PGs gives an another view of the possibilities in this genre.

  2. Nicolas Dupontdupont says:

    Thanks Diyan. It is worth to compare the 4 « make » possibilities, after a given “take” part, according to which piece is moving (the capturing one or the captured one), and according to which type of moving way is used (the own one or the opponent one). As an example with WPa2, BPb3 and “take” part a2xb3, we get the following homogeneous picture:

    T&M: WPb3 -> b2 (capturing, opponent)
    Anti-T&M: BPb3 -> b2 (captured, own)
    T&M type II: WPb3 -> b4 (capturing, own)
    Anti-T&M type II: BPb3 -> b4 (captured, opponent)

  3. Nicolas Dupontdupont says:

    Anti T&M and their variations is now possible to check with Jacobi (use the condition Couscous for type II), and the problem is C+ Jacobi!
