1. shankar ram says:

An interesting vertical and horizontal zig-zag strategy by the the WR. Typical A-i-C effects as well as “growing men” effects utilised well.

2. Georgy Evseev says:

Is it really mate? Why black cannot play 9…Rb8?

• shankar ram says:

Because, under the rules of All-in-Chess, you cannot repeat the same position which was reached before the last move

• shankar ram says:

i.e, no “switchbacks” allowed… except when the last move was a capture

3. 1.Rd8 is a check, isn’t it?
Just wondering as the current notation may look like there is quiet key. But I might be wrong…

• shankar ram says:

You’re right. 1.Rd8 IS a check!
The “+” seems to have been missed.

4. S N Ravi Shankar says:

Yes. 1.Rd8 IS a check. An error, which i did not notice while sending the problem. Thanks, Shankar ram for clarifying.

5. S N Ravi Shankar says:

There is another error. The fairy condition is ‘Growing Men’ and not ‘Growing Man’. Julia, can you correct it please?
