No.784 by Vincenzo Tinebra – Systematic moves of the black Rook along the 8th rank. (JV)

Definition:

Anti-Circe: Anti-Circe Calvet (the default type): After a capture the capturing piece (Ks included) must immediately be removed to its game array square (necessarily vacant, else the capture is illegal). Captures on the rebirth square are allowed. Game array squares are determined as in Circe.

The R-movements on the 8th rank are familiar (in AntiCirce), but in conjunction with sixfold bR/wK duel – this might be original/even task. Also, key and white economy are excellent. Good to see – every now and then – direct(!) fairy twomovers (without(!) fairy pieces)!

Very interesting BR/WK duel. But has it not been done before? Exciting find if not anticipated.

This matrix is incredibly powerful, perfectly working with a few white pieces.
Ingenious!
A complete task showing bR/wK duel in 7 variations is possible at some costs. Additional 3 wP’s and 1 wB are perhaps not too expensive.

I would like to make this matrix even wider with two rooks,
so the task is even bigger. 12 variations !

Kenneth, I’m very curious about these 12 different moves by wK.

Well, it is possible let’s with two fairy conditions like Take&Make and Anti-Circe
