No.211 – ser-=12 by Peter Harris – Attention for solvers! Author even gives you some hints for solving – see under diagram. I guess, it means that a problem is quite complicated to solve (even more complicated then Peter usually has?!) (JV)

Definitions:

Sentinels Pion advers:   When a piece (not a Pawn) moves, a Pawn of the colour of the opposite side appears on the vacated square if it is not on the first or the last rank, and if there are less than 8 Pawns of that colour on the board.

Chameleon Chess: All pieces on the board which are displayed as orthodox  Q, R, B, S,  are Chameleons. A Pawn can promote only in Chameleon-pieces.

Ultra-Patrol Chess – A piece can move, capture or give check only if it is observed by a piece of its own side.

Hints for solving. In the diagram position Black is stalemate. The final position is identical to the Diagram! – except for +4bPs. It is not possible for the wSf4 ever to move. A bP on e6 can be captured only by a B. (Author)
