Very nice effects — Unpin, repin, pinmates and interchange of N functions !

The scheme asks for model mates. Obviously, 2.Ra2 guards a5 without anything on a3 and a4 and that is probably why the authors have chosen to resolve technical issues (cooks) by using Ba4. However it spoils the purity of Na5#. The nicest position I have found is the following:

White Ne7 Na6 Pa4 Kg3 Bh3 Bc1 Ng1
Black Qa8 Rd5 Bh5 Kc3 Re2

Solution unchanged. No longer aristocratic position, but I would prefer two models to one aristocrat.

With Ng1 guarding a4, the Bba4 was indeed spoiling the model mate. But …… adding a practically useless white pawn a4 for that purpose ….. I think there can be different views on that. I thought model mates are a hangover from oldstyle orthodox problems. Is it considered valuable in fairychess problems also ?
