No.421 by Georgy Evseev – Very interesting Circe-play! There’s also a hint for the solvers! Enjoy! (JV)
Definitions:
PAO(PA): Moves as Rook, but captures only by hopping over a hurdle to any square beyond.
VAO(VA): Moves as Bishop, but captures only by hopping over a hurdle to any square beyond.
Circe: Captured units (not Ks) reappear on their game-array squares, of the same colour in the case of pieces, on the file of capture in the case of pawns, and on the promotion square of the file of capture in the case of fairy pieces. If the rebirth square is occupied the capture is normal.

harmonious!, and at the same time, not an exact pairing of solutions which gives some very nice variety. I like in a) 2.Bc4? 4.Bd3!!
Very nice idea of Anticipatory blocking of the reborn pieces. Neat use of Circe condition to prevent white from capturing the black fairy pieces.
