No.771 by Michael Grushko – Neutral AUW with only 3 men! (JV)
Definitions:
Phantom Chess: Any unit except a king may move either normally (from its current square) or as though from its Circe rebirth square if the latter is vacant.
Circe: Captured units (not Ks) reappear on their game-array squares, of the same colour in the case of pieces, on the file of capture in the case of pawns, and on the promotion square of the file of capture in the case of fairy pieces. If the rebirth square is occupied the capture is normal.

Thanks Michael for the dedication! It is a very nice problem with neutral battery mates and AUW. In (a), 3…nSa3 (moving via b1) is a hideaway battery mate. In (b), 2.nRf8-f6 is a remarkable tempo move. The nR must remain on a dark square, because on a light square it would give check via h1!
The logic behind b) move 2.nRf6 being the ONLY intermezzo is very fine, indeed!
Ein ganz toller Dreisteiner mit prima Phantom-Effekten.
Da muss man schon ganz genau hinschauen, warum die
Lösungen nur so gehen. \eb
Henrik Juel: In PDB)n Phantom chess any man (except kings) also works as if it stood on its square of origin
In part a) the last move is thus Sd1-b1-a3#, giving check by Df6-d1 and thus mate
In part b) the last move Tf2-a1-a4#, giving triple check (also by Ta4-h1) and mate, because Le1 also guards g5 by Le1-c1
Amazing find. In part b) promoted Tf8 needs to waste a move, luckily only f6 works as intermediate square (2015-6-7) edit
