Amazon(AM): Сan move like a Queen and like a Knight.
Cardinal(C): Moves like a Bishop but can once bounce of the edge of the board like a billiard ball, changing the color of the line of movement. For example: e6-d7-c8-b8-a7.
Camel(CA): (1,3) Leaper.
Skylla(SK): The Skylla moves as a normal Knight provided the destination square is vacant; to capture it takes an enemy unit on the intervening orthogonal square. If this square is occupied by a friendly unit then the Scylla is obstructed (it’s Marine MAO).
Rook-hopper(RH): Moves along R-lines over another unit of either color to the square immediately beyond that unit. A capture may be made on arrival, but the hurdle is not affected.
Grasshopper(G): Moves along Q-lines over another unit of either color to the square immediately beyond that unit. A capture may be made on arrival, but the hurdle is not affected.

No need to display setplay as nothing changes after key. I wonder if most of the fairy units are necessary. It seems they can be replaced orthodox pieces. Personally I would avoid use of fairy pieces if possible.
Well, there is a diagram error. Instead of white rook in a8 there should be a white Queen in c8. This will give the problem a second try.
Seetrahaman is correct that set play is not needed to write here.
I just wanted to show wickets with fairy pieces.
And I like to point out that the diagram error is author’s fault, not the publisher’s
The main feature of the problem is the four black defences are on b6. This can be done just grasshoppers and orthodox pieces.
For example:
white Bg8 Ka2 Qf8 Pc5b4 Sc6 Ra8g3
black Pb7a6b5f4 Sd7 Ka4 Ge3e6
#2 1.Qd8!
Even e3 can be a black bishop! I am sure with modifications a fifth defence on b6 might also be possible.
Dear Seetharaman,
this has been done as orthodox problem, but I wanted to make it as fairy now, so please don’t compare those two worlds ..
Thank you!
I understand. Whether to use fairy pieces when orthodox men will do the same job is a frequently raised question. Let the solvers and composers decide for themselves.! My view is what I said in my first post.
