Nice idea of double sacrifice Zilahi! Vaguely remember seeing something on these lines, but perhaps it was only double sac., and not Zilahi.

The 8th Commend problem by Mikhail Khramtsevich from here:
http://www.kobulchess.com/en/tournaments/awards/1282-kobulchess-helpates-2-2016-award.html
shows cyclic Zilahi with 4 passive and 2 active sacrifices.

There is a small number of twomovers with extended cyclic Zilahi, but there is not enough moves for two active sacrifices.

There is also a number of threemovers with 2+2 Zilahi with active sacrifices (two pieces are captured and remaining two participate in mate) and even a third (non-active) capture is added sometimes.

There is also the following problem:

Alexandre PANKRATIEV, Orbit 2003
White : Kf2 Rd8 Bg8a1 Sc3 Pg6e3
Black : Kf5 Qb8 Re7h5 Bf6b5 Sc5 Pg7e6e5c4e4d3d2

h‡2,5

b) Sc3>c6; c) Bg8>a2

with two active sacrifices in three solutions, but the twinning is evil and Zilahi effect is not uniform as four white pieces are used.

In my neutral cycle only half of the sacrifices are active, but it might still be interesting in this context.

Neutral pieces change logic of play.

The following collective problem has quiet active sacrifices. WinChloe did not consider battery mates as Zilahi, though.

Of course this is a Zilahi (of the fully cyclic active 2-captures type): it is always the last of the three thematic pieces that gives mate – it does not perform the mating move, but that is secondary.
A wonderful problem, by the way! It shows that fairies make it possible to show familiar themes in novel and fresh ways, in this case with the Zilahi sacrifices motivated by the need to perform a capturing nP switchback.

Clearly at least three White moves are needed for an “active 2-captures Zilahi”: two sacrifices + one mate. Also we need three solutions for a fully cyclic form. I would have thought this existed already, considering how many Zilahis there are, but that must be an illusion. The position of 1473 (with those composer names!) seems to indicate that the theme is quite hard.
