White has two double pinned pieces. B1 unpins a piece on the Bishop/Rook-line, so White can make a Pelle-move on the Rose-line. The former pinner then unpins the same piece on the Rose-line, creating a battery. The now completely unpinned piece gives check, so Black must fire the battery.

The other White piece stays pinned by the Rook/Bishop, so it can’t take the Rose. Exchange of function between White Knight and Rose and Black Bishop and Rook.
