After the key black captures on b5 and b6 block the potential reappearance squares g8 and b8 preventing the threat 2.Ke2+ by opening two different lines.
White cleverly uses the block on g8/b8 by a sacrificial check Qd1 and Sg1 using the fact that a knight promotion on these squares has been ruled out. Black is free to promote to QRB on d1 or g1 and each of these promotion captures block a potential rebirth square and enable one of the white batteries to fire!
Brilliant battery play using the blocks on six rebirth squares. There is a doubled cycle if you look at the B2 moves and mates. Deep idea which deserves careful study. Well done 👍
