Very nice problem! After the try 1.Re1?Qh8! there are nice white continuations
1….b3 2.e4! 1….Kc5 2.e3!
So the problem also shows the Vladimirov theme!
Very natural correspondence between the white and black thematic moves: e2-e3 and e7-e5 both guard d4, and e2-e4 and e7-e6 both guard d5.
Also fine that the defences are motivated by Another mate, using Pe2’s guard of e3.
Nice. The tries with tempo moves 1.Re1/g1 should better not be mentioned since they just repeat the set play, especially because of the duals after 1…Kc3.
“Vladimirov” is paradoxical and “Banny” is not.
