No.212 – h#2 by Themis Argirakopoulos – A nice Christmas Tree in a problem composed right after the end of Christmas Blitz tourney. Themis dedicates it to all participants and we’ve agreed to use it as a greeting problem to the award. (JV)
Definition:
MAO(MA): the Chinese knight, which is a Rider, moving along a bent line to the arrival square of a normal Knight, first orthogonally then diagonally. The Mao can be interfered with on the intervening square.
