This simple problem (miniature with pin mates, switchbacks-like
moves by Rh1 and Bf6, reversal of black and with moves, Rexsolus) is dedicated to the Bulgarian Grandmaster Petko Petkov
who not only delight us with his memorable masterpieces but also
for his tireless work of teaching chess problem art by his awards,
articles and last but not least inventions. His new last fairy
conditions (ANDA and ANDA inverse) are very interesting and
they promise great composing possibilities.
Thank you so much, Petko! (Author)
Dear Mario!
Thank you very much for your cordial words and for the dedication! This miniature demonstrates in a very pleasant and laconic way an important thematic mechanism that is very fruitful in Anda. Clearly, of course, many modifications of these ideas are possible, as well as their combination with other motives.
As I have already said in other publications, I am preparing a special theoretical article on Anda with many new examples. Now I can say something more specific in this regard – the article is ready, but now I’m checking again all the problems. I hope that by May 15th at the latest I will publish this article in Kobulchess.
