Definitions:
Fers: (1,1)Leaper
Wazir(WE): (0,1)Leaper (Vizir in WinChloe)
LEO(LE): Moves as Queen, but captures only by hopping over a hurdle to any square beyond.
Grasshopper(G): Moves along Q-lines over another unit of either color to the square immediately beyond that unit. A capture may be made on arrival, but the hurdle is not affected.

Nice. However, static Leo acts as a Lion, almost as a Grasshopper.

I think “Vizir” should be “Wazir” (WE in Popeye).
Yes, thank you, Geoff! In Popeye it is Wazir. Author’s diagram and solutions used WinChloe’s terms. Probably, I should change it to Popeye’s version, as for the most of published problems.
