Argentinian Chess presented in two problems: “There are two originals for JF, both problems are not very deep but I think they show some elements of this new form of fairy chess. Both problems are dedicated to Manfred Rittirsch, who is a huge source of inspiration and fantasy! At the end, of course, I hope you also will enjoy it a little bit!” (Author)

Argentinian Chess – the presentation sent by author:
Argentinian Chess pieces:
Loco (Lo): the Argentinian Bishop, moves by hopping diagonally over a hurdle on any arbitrary square behind it, captures like an ordinary Bishop.
Faro (Fa): the Argentinian Rook, moves by hopping orthogonally over a hurdle on any arbitrary square behind it, captures like an ordinary Rook.
Senora (Se): the Argentinian Queen, Loco+Faro, moves by hopping diagonally/orthogonally over a hurdle on any arbitrary square behind it, captures like an ordinary Queen.
Saltador (Sa): the Argentinian Knight, moves like a MOA hopper + MAO hopper and captures like an ordinary MOA+MAO (MOA(MO): The Chinese knight, which is a Rider, moving along a bent line to the arrival square of a normal Knight, first diagonally then orthogonally. The MOA can be interfered with on the intervening square. MAO(MA): The Chinese knight, which is a Rider, moving along a bent line to the arrival square of a normal Knight, first orthogonally then diagonally. The Mao can be interfered with on the intervening square.).
Argentinian Chess: Like ordinary chess, where all pieces are replaced by their Argentinian counter parts and pawns promote to Argentinian chess pieces. All other rules are as usual (castling, ep, …)
Argentinian pieces and Argentinian Chess implemented in Popeye 4.75. Thanks to Thomas Maeder!
Why Argentinian?
The answer is in the geographic location: What is the antipode location to China? It is Argentina! And so is Argentian chess, the antipode to Chinese chess (Leo, Pao, Vao, Mao…)
Circe: Captured units (not Ks) reappear on their game-array squares, of the same colour in the case of pieces, on the file of capture in the case of pawns, and on the promotion square of the file of capture in the case of fairy pieces. If the rebirth square is occupied the capture is normal.
Anti-Circe: Anti-Circe Calvet (the default type): After a capture the capturing piece (Ks included) must immediately be removed to its game array square (necessarily vacant, else the capture is illegal). Captures on the rebirth square are allowed. Game array squares are determined as in Circe.

Thanks a lot to Dmitri Turevski for a very quick adding of Argentinian pieces to animation program (py2web)!
1089. Regular promotions banned?
In Argentinian chess orthodox pieces are by definition replaced by Argentinian pieces, therefore regular promotions are banned. It is a similar principle as in e.g. Chameleon chess (where all pieces are replaced by chameleons in respective shapes and orthodox promotions are banned unless said otherwise), in Marine chess, etc.
