Anti-Circe: After a capture the capturing piece (Ks included) must immediately be removed to its game array square (necessarily vacant, else the capture is illegal). Captures on the rebirth square are allowed. Game array squares are determined as in Circe: R, B & S go to the square of the same colour as the capture; Ps stay on the file of capture; fairy pieces go to the promotion square of the file of capture.

The cyclic change of functions between two black and two white pieces is more apparent if you write it like this –
bRd2 (I) Block of rebirth (II) Block of flight
bBf4 (I) Block of flight (II) Closing of Rg1-a1
wRb3 (I) Closing of Rg1-a1 (II) Mate
wRb7 (I) Mate (II) Block of rebirth

Right – thank you, Kjell! I will keep an eye on explicity in my article to come. Just sent an improved table to Julia.
