No.438 by Boris Shorokhov – A very fresh idea of Chameleon Rundlauf, through in a bit heavy form. I’m happy to welcome Boris in Original Problems section of Julia’s Fairies!
I’d like to mention also that while this is the first original by Boris I publish on JF, this is not the first time he appears here, as some time ago I’ve published an article Twins Show (Russian version only) by Boris Shorokhov, which is the revised and expanded version of the article published earlier in “Шахматная композиция”, N0.106. Definitions:
Chameleon: On completing a move, a Chameleon (from classical standard type) changes into another piece, in the sequence Q-S-B-R-Q… Promotion may be to a chameleon at any stage in the cycle.

Very interesting idea of white opening black lines. Though this double rundlauf has been done without fairy pieces, this is a nice problem.
Nice problem. Actually it is more difficult if both Rundlaufs are in different moves. You can see such a Rundlauf in 3/4 moves with Chinese Chameleon in problem n.22 on the following link: http://kobulchess.com/en/problems/originals2012/107-originals-may-2012.html
