Neutral piece: Belongs to whichever side chooses to use it. It can therefore be moved or captured by White or Black, and in Circe it is reborn according to capture. A King may not be moved onto a square controlled by a neutral piece, because of self-check.
Symmetry Anti-Circe: As Anti-Circe except that the rebirth square for the capturing unit is the one which lies at an equal distance (in a straight line) beyond the board’s midpoint. Thus a capture on c4 produces a rebirth on f5 (from Fairings No.42).
Anti-Circe: After a capture the capturing piece (Ks included) must immediately be removed to its game array square (necessarily vacant, else the capture is illegal). R, B & S go to the square of the same colour as the capture; Ps stay on the file of capture; fairy pieces go to the promotion square of the file of capture.
Anti-Kings: A king is in check if he is not attacked. Mate occurs when a king is not attacked and his side has no move which exposes him to attack. (Of course kings may not be captured.)

The geometry of promotions RBS and crucial squares is well known – for wK it is e1, e2, e3, for captures these are b1, b2, b3 – Mario himself has used it a few times.
There is one very welcome addition – W1 moves of wS that are precisely determined by the need to block for White potential re-guards of the wK by promoted neutral piece. I can imagine this part took a while to set up.
Also, I have checked the need for bQ instead of bR as well as presence of Ph2 and Ph3. Curiously, each of these elements prevents just one very precise cook.
