Dear Friends,
First of all I’d like to remind you that the 1st of June is very close – and it is the last day for submitting your problems to FIDE Album 2010-2012. See the Announcement at WFCC website!
And now I have a good and bad news:
• I’m happy to let you know that yesterday I’ve got from Juraj Brabec the Award for JF-2013-I informal tourney! There’re many awarded problems and about 7 pages of interesting comments written in a nice cosy style. Thanks a lot to Juraj for so fast judging!
• I’m sorry to tell you, that most probably you’ll see the award in the first days of June only, as I have to translate it from Russian into English, and to prepare for publication; but as a lazy student I haven’t prepared my selection for FIDE Album yet, and need some time now to do it.
Looking at the silence here, I guess that many of you are busy with Album’s problems now. I wish you good luck in preparing your selections! And I’m waiting for your buy levitra professional activity here again!

The End of Informal Tourney JF-2013-I
Dear Friends, today is the last day of the informal tourney Julia’sFairies-2013-I !
I will inform you later about the list of problems participating in this tourney (versions of one and the same problem, PG-problems will be excluded). The number of problems is close to 100 (from No.214 till No.310).
For now I’d like to tell THANKS A LOT to all participants and active commentators!
A special GRATITUDE to our judge, JURAJ BRABEC, for taking this big work! Dear Juraj, I wish you a pleasant judging!

Now, when the site is 1 year old, it’s interesting to see the statistics about it’s growth. There’re some very interesting figures! Like,
Number of visits for the year is 36,014 (unique visitors are 5,795) and number of countries is 99! Of course, some visits are one time only, so it’s more interesting to look at the active ones. More then 10 visits are from 51 countries, while the top 10 is:

Number of page views is 100,564! The most popular is Problems – the number of unique page views is 2,085! Articles, Tourneys, Software have more than 1,000 unique views. Pages with original problems have till about 400 unique views for most commented, and around 150-250 views in average. The total number of views for original problems 2013 is 8,101.
What also might be interesting? I can add something more if you have any ideas for it! Thanks a lot to all of you for coming, for you comments, mails, originals… for your different personalities, your help and attention.. – for everything! Julia’sFairies 1st jubilee – The 10th of April, 2013Dear Friends! Today is the first birthday of my site! Of course, I’m happy! And I have a lot of memories – about the first tries of running it, the first created pages and posts, the first visitors!.. A year ago, at the same time, 10-Apr, 1:00 a.m. I’ve published the first post My start in composition about my problems with Chameleons, and have made the site available for visitors, although at that time it had just several sections about composing software. Honestly, that time I didn’t plan it growing so fast, but ideas came more and more, and your attention gave me too strong motivation! So, thanks to all of you Julia’s Fairies is what it is! I will add some more statistics a bit later, but for now I’m happy to present…. the original problems, of course!! – |

And now – to some different events coming soon:
- The Award of informal tourney JF-2012 is going to appear in April! I’d like to turn your attention one more time to the list of problems which participate in the tourney – in the list for 2012 I’ve left their background white, while making a darker background for the problems which does not participate. In case of any objections please write me ASAP!
- April is the last month of the first part of informal tourney 2013 – Julia’sFairies-2013(I) – where participate fairy problems published in January-April, 2013. The judge for informal fairy tourney 2013(I) – Juraj Brabec. You’re very welcome to submit your entries till the last day of April to participate in!
- The 10th of April is the birthday of juliasfairies.com website. This baby becoming 1 year old!
- An article by GM Petko A. Petkov about Marine pieces coming soon in April! I’m sure you will enjoy it!

As you know, our dear judge for informal tourney 2012, N. SHANKAR RAM, doing a big work now, judging about 200 problems published in 2012. Soon you will be informed if the problems are going to be splitted into different sections.
For now I’d like to turn your attention to the list of problems which participate in the tourney – in the list for 2012 I’ve left their background white, while making a darker background for the problems which does not participate. I believe that in case of improved versions published for the problems, only these last versions will participate (https://www.southwesternmedcenter.com/valium-online/). Also, non-fairy problems doesn’t participate. Of course, your comments or objections will be considered! Please send them during one month – till 15-Mar-2013 – if needed! Together with Shankar we will go through the list again. Some more corrections are possible. And I will inform you about them as well.
And one more information about 2012: I’m happy to let you know, that a problem No.10.1 – h#2* by János Mikitovics & Juraj Lörinc – which is an improved version to No.10 by J.Mikitovics, shown in the comment by J.Lörinc, is added to the list of Original problems 2012 and will participate in the tourney 2012!

Some info – 27.01.2013
My dear visitors, this post is about some absolutely different things.. and nothing too serious!
Firstly, I’d like to show you (in case if it is not that visible) the Search option on the top part of the right menu. It doesn’t searches inside the comments, but it does the search inside pages and posts. So, if you’re looking for some term or author’s name or anything also, you can enter it in the Search field and press OK button near it to get the results. All results – pages and posts which contain your searching phrase – will be shown on one screen, one after another. Maybe in some cases it can be helpful.
Secondly, Forum. It is not active, but still if you write something there – it is visible in the right part of any screen of the site, and as I can see – most of visitors read all new comments, including comments in the Forum. So, you can show any your problem there if you like, or add the announcement of some tourney (including orthodox) etc. You can also see number of views for any topic in the Forum.
Thirdly, about published problems. I can also see the statistic about views of any published problem (actually – a page with published problems). If you’re interested in a number of views of your problem – write me – and I will send you this number. For now, number of views for published problem varies from 100 till 480 in average.
And some entertainment at the end – I’ve added some pictures with a prizes for the tournaments I’ve had – many-many sweets and diplomas prepared! I’ve done these photos for my own memory as for me it was quite unusual and great experience. But maybe you’ll like to see them as well!
